Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is meant to help Tappetite users (“Users”) understand what data Tappetite collects, why it is collected, and what will be done with the information. Tappetite is committed to protecting the privacy of our Users and below are the various safeguards Tappetite has implemented to protect that information, as well as how Tappetite will use the information.


By using the Tappetite website and agreeing to this Privacy Policy, Users consent to the use of cookies in accordance with the terms of this Policy. User’s IP address will be stored in the individual User’s browser’s session, but not in the Tappetite database. And, User’s Browser ID (User Agent ID) will only be stored in in the current session. However, a User’s IP address is stored in a temporary data table in the case of abandoned carts and deleted later.

User Information

When a User registers with Tappetite, various personal information (‘Information”) may be collected, stored, and used. This Information may include, but is not limited to the User’s name, email address, shipping address, billing address, password, and billing information. By affirmatively providing Tappetite with this information, Users consent to this Information being collected, used, disclosed, or transferred and stored by Tappetite, as described in this Privacy Policy. Before providing the Information of a third-party, the User must obtain that third-party’s permission.

The Information collected and stored may be used for the following, but will not be limited to the following:

  1. Personalize or administer the Tappetite website;
  2. Access User delivery information to facilitate delivery of goods or services;
  3. Relay messages, including invoices, payment reminders, and collection information;
  4. Send emails that include information on goods, services, and website features;
  5. Collect and analyze metrics and data regarding Tappetite Users and communicate this statistical information to third-parties. However, this information will not include identifying information about Tappetite Users;

Any User Information that Tappetite processes for any purpose shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose. Tappetite Users may submit personal information for publication on the Tappetite website. In those instances, Tappetite will publish and otherwise use that information in accordance with the licence granted.

Tappetite accounts require a username and password to log in. Users must keep the username and password secure, and never disclose it to a third party. If a User believes that its Information is incorrect, the User may contact Tappetite for a correction at

Tappetite also allows Users to login from various social media platforms. When a User logs into Tappetite via Facebook, the following information may be collected, but will not be limited to: User’s email address, User’s “About Me” information, User’s birthday, User’s hometown, User’s website, and User’s friend list. Additionally, Tappetite will request to post items on Facebook on behalf of User. Additionally, when a User logs into via Google Plus, the following information may collected, but will not be limited to: User’s address, User’s age, User’s birthdate, User’s description, User’s Google Plus display name, User’s email address, User’s first and last name, User’s gender, User’s identifier, User’s Language, User’s phone number, User’s photo URL, User’s profile URL, User’s region, and User’s website URL.


Any information that is collected or stored may be disclosed to Tappetite employees, officers, directors, subcontractors, partners, agents, professional advisors, or other affiliates in order to facilitate any of the purposes set out in this Policy. Additionally, Information may be disclosed if required by law or if it is the subject of a legal proceeding.


Tappetite employs reasonable and appropriate measures to protect Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the Information.

Tappetite enforces secure connection to its website using HTTPS protocol. Tappetite has also installed SSL certificate on its servers.

As additional security, strong password requirements are enforced upon the site administrators.


This Privacy Policy will be updated periodically by publishing a new version on the website. Users are responsible for checking the website occasionally to ensure compliance and agreement with the new Policy.
